Welcome To The WhatNotinator!
Directions: The WhatNotinator is a RPG tool to generate misc useful items or minor magical junk for game purposes. Most of the WhatNots this creates will be single use items. This is a compliment to Lepzard's Junkinator but will be used primarily as a DM tool for the Lepzard RPG to create stuff the player characters may actually find handy, instead of being junk.- Chocolate Bar - A small chocolate candy. These are extremely useful for wooing fair maidens who have chocolate fetishes.
- Animated 6 Inch Diameter Purple Cheese Wheel - This purple wheel of perfectly edible cheese is also a tame monster. If studied closely, it is obviously an animated monster made of cheese. If someone simply bites into it, all hell breaks loose, or at least someone desiring a snack gets a surprise. It has a few hit points, but doing too much damage can ruin it as a cheese, so the best way to eat one of these is to knock it out with a sleep spell if possible. Otherwise it'll start rolling around, with it's well known "Roll On Opponents' Toes" attack. Any other combat specifics are up to the DM at the time. There may be other ways to incapacitate it enough to eat it as well. It can be safely carried around just like a normal cheese.
- 7 Magican Jumping Beans - A favorite gag of wizard apprentices everywhere, these beans have other uses for an adventurer. Throw them at the ground and they'll start jumping around, to random heights, for a long time, while being completely obnoxious.
- Orb of Winter - This 6 inch diameter, fragile white globe can be broken in a small room to release the magic within. If opened in a large room or outside, the magic fails. Once released, the room drops 20 degrees F. for an hour. This can be used to discourage or distract opponents.
- Orange Sash - Wearing this sash gives the wearer a +5 to HIT bonus for 1 day, and then the sash turns to dust.
- Lucky Rat's Foot - A dried and preserved rat's foot on a necklace. If actually worn, and the wearer is in a really bad situation, it's said this will truely bring real luck... if the player reminds the DM about it of course. Those who don't remember they're entitled to luck, often find it is overlooked.
- RepliGold Coin - A generic looking gold coin, assumes the markings of the standard gold piece in any realm it is carried in. When left with an equal value of NON gold coins, the coins are magicked into an equal value of coins made of gold. I.E. Leave this with 10 Silver Pieces for a few hours and the silver will morph into 1 Gold, assuming 10SP = 1GP in that realm. RepliGold coins are handy for merchants who like to keep their ledgers worked out in multiples of gold pieces. They are also the reason that copper pieces have no completely overrun the currency system in Lepzard, unlike pennies in the mundane world we live in.
- Necroluminescence Shell - A shell from the rare Tinkrut crab, which beging glowing with necroluminescent light after the crab dies. It is a rarity that many collectors would be pleased to find. This is a non-magical item.
- Chocolate Bar - A small chocolate candy. These are extremely useful for wooing fair maidens who have chocolate fetishes.
- Black Glow Torch - A torch of a magical nature that starts glowing when wacked against the ground, and lasts for 5 hours. This torch glows with a black light, andgives off no heat. When it expires, the whole thing turns to sawdust.
- Chocolate Bar - A small chocolate candy. These are extremely useful for wooing fair maidens who have chocolate fetishes.
- Potion of Half Invisibility - This clear potion with no notable scent or taste comes in a 3oz vial. It makes the drinker become 50% translucent, including anything they are wearing. Effects last an unknown amount of time. This potion is best used in tanden with the HIDE IN SHADOWS skill or similar for bonuses. It's also great for freaking other people out.
- Dust of Blinding - A tiny pouch with a little bit of dust, which can be blown into an opponent's eyes. This assumes the opponent has real eyes! If so, they'll be blinded for an unspecified duration.
- Animated 24 Inch Diameter Purple Cheese Wheel - This purple wheel of perfectly edible cheese is also a tame monster.
